This trip gives road cycling enthusiasts the chance to get on two wheels, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and enjoy local atmosphere, colors, and landscape. Wanna challenge your self and do more kilometers than usual, then you definitely should book this trip.
The highlight of the trip is our picnic at Batllava Lake, where local fishermen serve us their catches of the day and share their local rakija.
We gonna pass the 75 kilometers from Prishtina. The smooth and mostly flat route makes for easy riding with many photo-op possibilities.
Batllava Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Kosova located in the eastern part of Kosova. It serves as the main source of drinking water for the territory of Prishtina and Besiana (Podujeva) and is one of the most popular touristic destinations for Kosovars. In summer you can go there for swimming whereas in autumn people go there for fishing. It is a place with a lot of fresh air.
- We start biking from Prishtina and continue through the villages Lukar, Grastice, and Mramor. The entire route is on the road … surrounded by mountains and old houses.
- We will ride at a relaxed pace: 10-15 kilometers during the six-hour period. The trip allows you to really experience the region and its a unique atmosphere.
- We will stop in Batllava lake city for coffee and then e continue back to Prishtina.
