Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Included:Â Airport transfer, accommodation, dinner, and briefing with the guide.
- Arrive at Prishtina Airport, meet your guide and transfer to Peja, a charming mountain town at the edge of the Rugova Valley.
- Accommodation at Bora Hostel (shared room/bunkhouse style and shared bathrooms).
- Evening briefing about the journey ahead.
Day 2: Kuqishte – Milishec
Trail: 12 km | Climb: 1,200m | Moderate
Included: Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner, and accommodation.
- After breakfast in Peja, we will drive to Kuqishte and start our hike starts in Kuqishte village, with a gentle climb to two alpine lakes—Liqeni i Kuqishtës and Liqeni i Drelajve.
- Cross Qafa e Jelenkës with stunning views.
- Descend to Zllonopojë and stay at the Lojza Guesthouse, known for mountain hospitality and homemade food.
Day 3: Milishec – Gacaferi
Trail: 18 km | Climb: 800m | Easy
Included: Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner, and accommodation.
- Hike through the Roshkodol Valley and Bjeshka e Belegut.
- Enjoy natural springs, scenic ridgelines, and ancient forests.
- End the day at the Gacaferi Guest House in Pllaqica e Junikut.
Day 4: Gacaferi – Gropat
Trail: 15 km | Climb: 1,200m | Moderate
Included: Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner, and accommodation in Prishtina.
- Travel through sweeping views of alpine lakes and mountain peaks with the option to summit Mt Gjeravica (2,656m), the second highest peak in the Accursed Mountains.
- Experience the source of the Erenik River and walk through a diverse ecosystem.
- The hiking trail finishes in Gropa e Erenikut and return to Prishtina.
Day 9: Departure
- After breakfast, transfer to Prishtina Airport, travel home or transfer to other destinations in Kosovo or the Balkans.
