Jonada Jashari
Yoga Instructor

Born in Albania, Jonada spent her adolescence and most of her adulthood in the United States of America where she lived and studied for twelve years. Passionate about storytelling and film making Jonada completed a Masters of Fine Arts in Film Directing before returning to her homeland to explore the stories, struggles and triumphs of her people. Alongside her work as a director of advertising, she remained a devoted yoga student. In 2014 she completed 200 hours of Ashtanga Yoga Teacher at the Sampoorna Yoga School based in Goa, India.  Enthusiastic about teaching, Jonada is currently volunteering at The Idea’s Partnership where she teaches children the benefits of yoga and meditation. She joined Butterfly Outdoor Adventure to share love and energy with all of our clients. .

After 12 successful years in marketing -- and having been part of virtually all major marketing campaigns in the small and beautiful country of Kosovo -- Uta gained a clear understanding of what she really wanted to do. She realized that her passion was outdoors: hiking, climbing, running, and cycling. All with a touch of style,graciousness, and beauty. Four years into splitting her time between marketing and outdoor adventure -- and having climbed everything in the vicinity and up to the highest peak of Europe, Mont Blanc -- Uta decided to merge it all into one company: Butterfly Outdoor Adventures. She hopes to share her love of nature and to offer safe and impactful outdoor experiences to her clients.

Chad Briggs
Cycling Guide

An American in Kosovo, Chad is a professor at RIT-K/AUK and Johns Hopkins University, where he is an expert in environmental and energy security policy. He has been a long-distance cyclist since he was 14, is an Audax rider in the US, and is a master's racer with the local Team Prishtina. Chad is a scout and guide for the local roads in the Balkans, always working to find new routes and encourage more cycling in Kosovo, but he also uses his time on the bike to document environmental changes in the region. After years studying and working in Canada, Norway and Hungary, he started working on post-conflict reconstruction and environmental health in the Balkans, and was drawn to the people and landscape of Kosovo. Climbing Guide

Sports have always been at the center of his life: football, skiing, mountain biking, mountaineering, and more. For the past three years, he has thrown this passion behind rock climbing. “Rock climbing isn’t just looking at rock and then deciding to climb it. There are many different styles, techniques, and types of rock to climb," he explains. "Rock climbing can be an exhilarating, rewarding, and life changing experience, which is a great challenge that involves risk, danger, and hardship."

Arta happens to be an architecture student, which fits perfectly with her passion for beauty, nature, and photography. She most certainly will be will be somewhere endeavoring on the mountains, seeking for the adventures that outdoor sports provide, and that's where she gets inspired. She decided to join us in Butterfly so that she could always be connected with her muse and reflect her enthusiasm to our clients.  

Christine Devlin
Administrative Manager

Spending most of her life in Colorado with the Rocky Mountains in her backyard, Christine grew up with an active lifestyle. Her passions lie mostly in hiking, camping, climbing, and running--but she really just loves anything requiring her to get outdoors and get her adrenaline pumping. She has a degree in Business Administration for Colorado State University, and helps run the behind the scenes magic in the Butterfly office.

Arber Hoti
Organizer - Walking Guide

Born in Mitrovica, Arber fell in love with nature as a very young child and started hiking several years ago. As a nature and outdoor lover, he wants to show other people the beauty of Kosovo and Albania. His work with Butterfly mostly entails organizing walking and hiking tours in old cities and villages throughout Kosovo and Albania.

Etnike Dibrani

Etnike is an Applied Geographer with profession. Throughout the studies of Applied Geography she has found the most important fields of scientific nature related to modern and contemporary culture. Wide range of topics covered in some courses in which she has achieved high marks has gained extensive knowledge of the main trends in modern and contemporary culture and also have developed the ability to approach culture through different concepts and ideas - in other words, to see the geography of cultural divisions around the world. As a result, she has developed an interest in researches into different topics, such as the representation of the tourist potential of Kosovo, tourism, tourist functions, cultural values, the historical identity of our country. Furthermore the most special values of nature and culture of Kosovo and the provinces surrounding country. She is very honored to be part of our company.
